05/01/2008 Entry: "A good day."
This has been an eventful day.
I went into 'Sheets' (that's the place I will working at..til I get fired.. most likely- so get used to hearing about it.) & completed my paperwork, got my work shirts, hat & apron..Yeah, a apron. They're rather strict as far as appearence is concerned. No jewery, except for wedding rings & a maxium of 2 post earrings (I have 7 holes in my ears). It's just a black work shirt, black hat & black slacks...It's rather 'gothy' actually, if they weren't so anal.
So..Let's see so far I know I must greet the customer, take order, ask anyone who looks under 27 for ID when purchasing cigerettes, ask 'Will there be anything else?' SMILE. That last part will be hardest for me. I'm someone who actually would get people come up & say 'Smile! to me regularly..I ain't kiddin'. I've had customers say that while I would be working, even some stranger once as I was walking on the boardwalk. My face's default setting is that of a frown. Can't help that.
It shall be tough..My first day is on Monday.

I love the details on these & I'm really touched to have something made specifically for me. The only other item I can think of that like are my cousin's drawings which I treasure the same way. But I'm not good at expressing myself with words just THANK YOU CLARISSA!!, that's what I'm aiming at.
My kitty Baby had her own kittens today.
That's her yesturday. My mom brought into the house & up to my room, where she hasn't been in awhile. She always freaks out abit at first, meowing around & going to the 'Mirror cat' for help. You should be able to see how big she is.
I mean, she just such a tiny cat, but actually gave birth to 4 good sized healthy kittens which I'm really thankful for. 3 striped/white & 1 black. All cleaned & in a nest she made in our barn.
Our barn..If I put enough effort into updating my personal site as I do for my obsession sites, I would take many pictures of our depressing falling apart barn & sheds. It's just...sorta sad actually, 'cause I can remember a time when they were actually used & repaired. Hell, before we lived here at some point this whole property was a fully functioning farm.
Yes if these walls could talk...(looks around) well I don't really want THESE walls to talk, they've probably seen me talking to myself at some point..and WORSE..
And now, what good is our old barn? For storing our many MANY junk. Items not sold at flea markets from years past, items our landlords make us store, items my parents few friends have them to store..Wait, actually I discovered I had old magazines stored over there...I NEED TO GET THEM OUT & LOOK AT THEM!
And my sister & mine old barbies...Left out, with mold growing over them, destroyed. I have had half a heart to get them & wash them over but really it's no use. What a waste..
But I'm getting away from the good subjects of today. Hell even tonight's Office & Smallville were good..YES, even crappy-2nd-rate-7th-season Smallville was GOOD. No Lana, a strangely unannoying Lois, Chloe getting a man she deserved, Lex killing Clark & blowing the whole freakin' planet..THEN it turned out to be a dream that Jor-el was showing to Clark so he'd stop being such a whiney bitch all the time. Still, it gave a Clex (That's Clark + Lex if you're not a loser who hangs out at Smallville forums)
