02/13/2008 Entry: "wrap up."
Eh, ya know..I write up a nice - rather large entry yesturday, but somewhere between proof reading it (yes, believe it or not) I seemed to have closed a window or clicked something or other..
But here's the wrap up -
I'm job-free again.
No one showed up at the store yesturday. At opening time I went home & when they called me up I pretty much told them I was not coming in anymore. Hopefully they got the meaning that I was quiting, but either way I'm not coming in anymore.
There are reasons for this. One is that my parent's are constantly bitching & telling me to find another job. Another is that I don't get many hours, despite being on call whenever I'm not scheduled to work. And then there's the fact that the people there don't seem like they want to train me, but just leave me to find my way around. Also the asst. manager acts like she hates me..for whatever reason. I can deal with that - hell I have before, but that does effect you when you're working with someone.
Normally I would give 2 week's notice. Actually I think it's downright rude to quit on the spot. Still..this was probably the best way of dealing with this situation. Now I just have to dread going into the store to pick up my final paycheck the following Friday.
In other news, it snowed alot yesturday. Today it's raining, melting/freezing some of the snow.
Tomorrow, my parents are going back to the casino & staying out of state overnight. And I'll be babysitting our landlord/neighbor's kids from 6-8pm. Hopefully that should go well. There's one girl, aged 12 & two boys aged about 10 & 9 I believe. I never see them except when they stop by on Halloween & then I'm in my custom chasing them around . So they atleast don't HATE me. Heck, if they let me play games with them for 2 hours I'll be happy. :)
Friday, will get taxes done.
I've turned in an application at that local convenience store looking for a night person.
Presently, I am burning away my free hours online & working on my damn vampire site. I really lost my interest in drawing at the moment. TOO HARD.
Ok, I've gotta get SOMETHING, ANYTHING done today.
